Watch The Film

Rosa, a young Mayan woman, sits alone. She stares directly into the camera and for the first time has the courage to share her story. She has wrestled with rejection, forgiveness and the fight to keep her child alive. Now 27, she must overcome her past to follow the dreams she once thought impossible.

Rosa is the star of our first film Living on One Dollar. When we premiered it in Guatemala, we watched as Rosa stood to address an audience of 400 of her peers – encouraging them to believe they had the strength and unique ability to pursue their dreams. For us, Rosa – These Storms, is the chance for her to tell her own story and deliver the same message of hope to the rest of the world.
